Maria Fernanda Vogel (b. 1995, Managua, Nicaragua) is a painter who lives and works in Coral Gables, Miami.

Working professionally since the age of fourteen, Vogel trained in Florence at the Accademia Europea di Firenze and paints in a neofigurative language rooted in the color and memory of Nicaragua. At fifteen she presented her first collection, Favelas, at Galería Códice in Managua. Her work since, including La Sultana and Llegamos Bailando, returns to the same questions: migration, memory, and what a family carries when it starts over.

Her recent commissions include Llegamos Bailando, the official painting of Carnaval Miami 2026, and the official Miami Marlins jersey for the team's Nicaraguan Heritage Celebration, 2025. She believes painting belongs in public life: she has presented her work to the public at Carnaval on the Mile in Coral Gables, led a workshop for students at Mater Kiwanis Academy in Miami, and as a teenager designed and taught a free painting program for girls in rural Nicaragua.

Her work is held in private collections in New York, Miami, Las Vegas and Lucerne. She holds a United States residency for extraordinary ability in the arts.
